Follow the steps yourself for free. Sam isn't open to the public yet — join the waitlist and we'll invite you when a spot opens.

1. Covered plans promise 99.9% uptime

Google Fiber's Uptime Guarantee Agreement says the Covered Service will provide a Monthly Uptime Percentage of 99.9%. Below that, its table lists a credit of 25% of the Monthly Recurring Charge. It applies only to services indicated as covered.

What to do: Check your sign-up confirmation or account portal to see whether your plan is a Covered Service before asking for this credit.

2. The credit lands two cycles later

If Google Fiber determines you're eligible, it says it will automatically apply the credit to your bill for the second billing cycle after the month it missed the guarantee.

What to do: If it doesn't appear by then, follow up with the dates and length of the outage.
